Getting to our yard from the Gulf Islands

Every route ends on Highway 1 or Highway 19. Our yard is on Aqua Terra Road in Cassidy, beside the Nanaimo Airport, between Ladysmith and Nanaimo. From Crofton or Chemainus, head north on Highway 1. From Nanaimo Harbour, head south.

Ferry fares depend on the combined length of your vehicle and trailer, and a trailer's overall length is longer than its deck size because of the tongue. Ask us for the overall length of the trailer you're buying before you book the trip home. Delivery can be arranged if you need it.

Where you're coming from

Gabriola Island: The ferry from Descanso Bay lands at Nanaimo Harbour in downtown Nanaimo. From there it is about 20 minutes south on Highway 1 to our yard.
Salt Spring Island: Use the Vesuvius ferry to Crofton, which puts you about 35 minutes south of us. The Fulford Harbour ferry to Swartz Bay also works but adds well over an hour of driving.
Thetis and Penelakut Islands: Your ferry lands in Chemainus, about 25 minutes south of our yard.
Denman and Hornby Islands: The Denman ferry lands at Buckley Bay, south of Courtenay; Hornby buyers cross Denman first. From Buckley Bay it is about 1 hr 20 min down Highway 19.
Pender, Mayne, Galiano and Saturna: Your ferries run to Swartz Bay, north of Sidney. From there it is about 1 hr 50 min, over the Malahat.
